Learnt lots of different meditation techniques and wondered how they fit together? Interested in learning a joined-up approach to meditation and applying its lessons to everyday life that is underpinned by ancient Buddhist wisdom? This 8-week course can help clarify the journey you can go on as a meditator, and where your attention is best placed to make the most of your practice.

Concretely, we are offering an overview of a ‘system of practice’ in five stages. We start by exploring ‘a fit mind’ through the stages of integration and positive emotion (samatha). We then move into the stages of vision and transformation (vipassana), letting go of habitual ways in order to see and know things more clearly and what life is for. Woven into this journey is the stage of spiritual receptivity, being open to our direct experience and to the nature of things.

Note: This course is offered through Triratna New York.
