Mindful Emotion is all about kindness behavior training. Developed by a psychiatrist and clinical psychologist, and drawing on their clinical experience and Buddhist teachings, this course emphasizes ‘the heart’ in secular mindfulness meditation and practices. It draws on a range of psychological theories and areas of research, and findings from cognitive neuroscience and evolutionary and positive psychology.

Over 8 weeks you will learn practical exercises and meditations to cultivate kindness, and how to put kindness into practice in daily life. Each week will include guided practice, input on the week’s themes, and group discussion and sharing about practice. There is also weekly home practice guidance, including guided meditations and daily exercises. There is an optional Day Retreat.
