Do you eat when you are stressed out, bored or sad? Are you preoccupied with body image or dieting? Is healthy eating a struggle?
Mindfulness-Based Habit Change combines the tools of mindfulness practice and behavioral science to fundamentally change how we relate to food, weight, and body image.

Join Laurence Magro and Nancy Logue, psychotherapists and certified mindfulness educators, to explore our habits of mind and heart around food and eating. Discover an innovative and compassionate approach to healing your relationship to this everyday life-sustaining activity.
Through individual and group exercises, guided meditations and contemplations, dialogue and inquiry, as well as mindful movement practices you will learn how habits are formed and can be modified.

You will learn to:

· Identify physical and emotional triggers that set off food-related cravings
· Recognize your patterns or ‘eating scripts’ and automatic behaviors around food
· Use the set of mind/body tools devised by psychiatrist and addiction expert Judson Brewer MD to address unhelpful habits and ride-out cravings
· Practice body-specific meditation practices conducive to self-compassion and acceptance
· Strengthen life-enhancing habits of mind and behavior

This workshop is open to all.

Highly recommended: Participants get a discounted subscription to the Eat Right Now app to use as a textbook with a multitude of resources, information, exercises, tools and online community.
